I've been involved in real estate since 2004 when I purchased my first investment property and became a landlord. Since then, I've purchased property in three states and four cities (rentals in Chicago, a condo rental in Portland, a vacation rental on Mt Hood Oregon, and a condo in Harlem, New York).
As a remote landlord, I screen tenants and manage my rental applications online at rentapplication.net. I use billmytenants.com to invoice and cozy.co, Zelle, and Venmo to collect rent.
I've worked at various startups, including Second Porch - a social based vacation rental discovery site, Trello - project management made easy, and Customer.io - product based messaging automation. While living in NYC, I decided to try my hand as a real estate agent - attempting to turn my love of real estate into a career. Currently, I'm helping other real estate agents, independent landlords, and property managers successfully manager their rental properties by leading growth at Rent Application.
